Dr. Chris Wood has 16 years of experience in General Dentistry and has developed a loyal following of patients at Hollow Brook Family Dentistry. He is one of the last remaining dentists who personally make their own dentures instead of referring that work to other facilities. Dr. Wood thus assures a perfect fit for each of his patients. He is also one of the few denture makers who can surgically place implants to stabilize a patient's dentures and partials.
He has an extensive background in occlusion, TMJ and restorative dentistry. He is a member of the American Academy of Restorative Dentistry. Dr. Wood is one of 6 active members in the state of Colorado. Further, Dr. Wood is a member of the International Academy of Gnathology (the advanced study of the function of the jaws that pertains to both TMJ and occlusion) and has been trained at both the Pankey Institute and The Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies.
Dr. Wood has been trained in orthodontics and the invisilign approach to "straight teeth, no braces" orthodontics. He is a member of the American Orthodontic Society.
He has published dental research in the Journal of the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) and lectured at the IADR meeting in The Hague.
Dr. Wood's leisure time activities include scuba diving and reading about history and philosophy.
Dr. Eric Erlander joined Hollow Brook Family Dentistry in 2003, and also currently practices in Pueblo, Colorado. He graduated from the University of Colorado (CU) School of Dentistry.
He is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, and Colorado Springs Dental Society. Upon graduation, he received an award from the Academy of Operative Dentistry for outstanding operative and restorative dentistry.
